Issue by peace: Is it fat bearing??? The prior owners have removed the wall in between the living space and dining place.?
The total duration that they opened up is twelve foot three inches. At about four foot out there is a publish which seems to be there only because there is a light switch to the dining place light on it (this is the original finish of wall) When I subjected the inside of of this post there are two 2x4's, one particular cut in half to match in electrical box, the other complete and ends at the top rated of the original doorway frame. When I glimpse in the attic over this wall there is a 16+ foot double header that seems at least 16"x2". Can I remove this publish? I know how to move the eletrical, just not genuine confident about framing and framework. Thanks for any assist on this.

more then probably it is weight bearing, thats why they left it up, a light switch can be
