I am referring to heading to Scandanavia (Sweden or Denmark) getting some furniture (e.g. dwelling space furnishings, dining table and chairs) and shipping them back to the US. I hope to preserve some funds and probably get some furniture seldom seen in the US. How was your knowledge? Any suggestions, title of retailer(s) will be appreciated.

You may want to check shipping fees initial. Unless of course your earnings is unlimited, you may possibly be much better off searching at retailers here that specialize in Scandinavian furniture. There are several shops other than Ikea!
You can also look into finding a carpenter to make customized created furniture in the Scandinavian fashion. This might also be an option, rather than shipping furniture over.
